Prevent and Treat Injuries

Here are 5 useful topics on the subject of injury prevention and treatment. While injury is common to most sports, your coaches don’t want you to be depressed when an injury occurs. Realize that the injury creates an opportunity to learn, to learn that cross-training and good running form are keys to prevention. Learn what caused the injury, learn how to treat it, and learn how to prevent it in the future. This process makes you a better runner, too. If you get injured, continue to attend the coaching sessions on Saturday mornings. The best place to be is with your coaches and supportive friends.
